Teamcenter Named User Licensing
Teamcenter is a named user PLM system. Users can obtain one of three license types that fit their roles in the system. All Teamcenter users need a license to access the system. Named user licenses are utilized and priced so that each user is assured access to the central data repository when they need it, and so that accountability, reporting, tracking and workflow functionality is available for all data transactions.
Below are the three license types of Teamcenter:

This
license includes complete PDM data creation and vaulting, full access to workflow and
complete access to the Product Structure Manager module with the exception of Options

CAD Integration Licenses
CAD integration licenses are named user. Each user, who will be authoring CAD content into Teamcenter, will need a CAD Integration license in addition to the Teamcenter Author license.
There are integration licenses for all the major CAD software on the market. Teamcenter is the one data management tool to “manage them all” you might say.
It is the PDM/PLM tool that helps manage all the processes, applications, and information required to design, manufacture, and support a product throughout its life cycle.
